PROFESSIONAL GOLF STAFF

Jon Mandala

DIRECTOR OF GOLF OPERATIONS Jon Mandala worked at New Jersey National Golf Club from 2013 until joining MCC in 2023. At New Jersey National, he started as a caddie and worked his way up, first to Golf Shop Manager and, after completing his PAT, to Second Assistant. He added Director of Junior Program/Events to his responsibilities. In addition to golf instruction, Jon’s many strengths include event coordination, merchandising, and overall enhancement of the member experience.

Brett Lloyd

ASSISTANT GOLF PROFESSIONAL Brett Lloyd joined MCC in 2022 from the Glens Falls Country Club (NY) where he was learning golf course management. Brett helped with operations on the golf course, assisting GFCC into the top 100 golf courses in America in 2020. He is a Saratoga County native with a drive and passion for golf. While attending SUNY Adirondack pursuing his Associates degree, he joined the golf team with head coach Michael Carpenter, helping them win NJCAA regionals in 2018. He is currently working through the PGA of America program.

George Heslin

TEACHING PROFESSIONAL George Heslin is a seasoned Golf Professional whose journey has led him to the mountains of Vermont. He has extensive knowledge of the golf swing and modern teaching strategies to go along with his extensive tournament play experience. George has coached at the college level at Sacred Heart University and has introduced thousands of junior golfers to the game of golf. He boasts 14 current PGA professionals currently working in the business that have come through his programs. With his breadth of experience George has taught over 28,000 lessons. With use of the latest video and launch monitor systems George can improve any golfer's game, from beginner to advanced. He is available for private, semi-private and group lessons, as well as playing lessons on the golf course. He is dedicated to providing a full panoply of golf instruction to all those interested in the game here at MCC. George is a full time resident of Vermont where he lives with his wife and MCC member Dr Eva Mayer.
